Lokomotiv is one of the best RPL teams in the spring part of the championship. They share first place in terms of points scored (19) with Zenit and CSKA, and only Krasnodar (22) can match it in terms of goals scored. Artem Dziuba (8+4), who came to the club in winter, is in an elegant uniform. Leads in goal + pass with Malcolm and scored in the last round to help defeat Khimki (5-1). A little earlier “Railway” big beat “Orenburg” (4:1) and “Pari NN” (4:0).
In the previous round, Sochi turned out to be stronger than the outsider Torpedo (3:1), thanks to which they broke a series of 3 defeats. This victory was the first for Dmitry Khokhlov, who has been leading the club in the last three rounds. True, this is unlikely to dramatically affect the team’s performance. Over the distance of 25 match days, the “leopards” scored 34 points and practically guaranteed their participation in the RPL for the next season.
It is worth noting that in the current draw Sochi is weak in away matches. On the road he scored only 29% of his points and had 3 wins out of 12 attempts.
After the break, Lokomotiv is simply unstoppable and easily copes with less status clubs. I don’t think Sochi will be able to oppose anything to the favorite that has played out.
