Winnipeg jets

Winnipeg lost its position very badly and found itself in the last eight in the West. On either side of him are Seattle and Nashville with games in hand, so Rick Bowness’s men can’t relax for a second. After the shutout from not the most dangerous St. Louis “warriors” came together and scored the needed points against Arizona and Anaheim, but Los Angeles is a completely different level of resistance.

Kings of Los Angeles

Los Angeles, with one game in hand, is 4 points behind leaders Vegas and can still fight for a conference win. Todd McLellan’s team is playing very confidently this month, not losing once in regular time, and in the last game the Californians defeated Calgary (8-2). The upcoming game will be the sixth in a long seven-game home run where the “kings” are no worse than January.

Forecast

In both personal meetings this season, the coveted amount of pucks appeared. At the very beginning of the regular season, Winnipeg was stronger 6-4, and earlier this month the Californians reciprocated 6-5 on penalties. Los Angeles now looks much more prepared for another prime minister, with the West leading the way in home fixtures. Winnipeg won the head-to-head at the beginning of the regular season, but they knocked it over the distance and are only 10th in away matches, which is significant before the reporting match.
