Andrei Rublev has not played on clay this season. The last tournaments of the Russian are two Masters in the USA. In both Indian Wells and Miami, Rublev reached the 4th round, in California he lost in straight sets to Norrie, in Florida to Sinner. Note the fact that Rublev is probably the strongest Russian on clay. In Andrei’s collection there are three cups of clay tournaments brought from Umag, Hamburg and Belgrade. Rublev cannot be called the favorite of the whole tournament in Monaco, but we will not be surprised if the sixth racket of the world will present itself worthily in Mona Carlo. In 2022, Rublev played 20 matches on clay, of which he won 14 with six defeats.

The Spaniard can be called a profile primer. Jaume has already played a number of tournaments in South America in 2023, in March-early April he played three matches in Gijon and two in Marrakech. Jaume has no problems with match training on the ground, but there are problems with the results. In Monte Carlo, the Spaniard played one match against the Swiss Husler, defeating Marc Andrea 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 in two hours and 57 minutes in three matches. During the match, Munyar hit straight with four double faults four times, scoring 59% on his first serve and 42% on his second. Return statistics: 45%/53%. In total, Jaume played 13 matches on clay in 2023, winning eight and losing five.
