Interestingly, the bet on the goals of both teams in the Champions League round of 16 was only in 3 out of 16 matches and only once did the teams score each other, which was plus or minus equal odds of success (Real Madrid vs Liverpool).
But in a City v Bayern game, I would risk a look at Oz. First of all, both clubs have lost quite a lot recently: the English team have scored in 5 of the last 10 matches, the German team in 6 out of 10. For a top club, this is a pretty solid indicator. Secondly, in 3 out of 4 Champions League matches after City became a major European player, the clubs traded goals.
