Juventus win
Freiburg are currently 5th in the German Bundesliga, with the team tied on points with RB Leipzig and Union Berlin. This season may be the best in Freiburg’s history. Even if the German team fails to advance to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, participation in the play-offs is already a big achievement for them.

As for Juventus, this season could be their worst in the last decade. In Serie A, the Turin club is still outside the Champions League zone, and the Europa League becomes Max Allegri’s team’s main opportunity to win a pass to football’s most prestigious European Cup next season.

After the first leg, Juve came one step closer to reaching the quarter-finals. He took a convincing win in the game – but not in the score. Allegri’s side dominated the first leg and should have scored more goals against Freiburg. In the 2nd leg Germany will play more openly to close the 1 goal difference and I think Juventus will be able to take their chances and punish Freiburg in one of the counter-attacks.
