But on the road, Todd McLellan’s team is only 8th, and after a successful long run at home, the “Kings” lost outright in Calgary.

The Oilers have scored in 12 out of 14 games played and they behave in a characteristic way, which leads to matches with high scores. At the moment, Jay Woodcroft’s team is undefeated in regular time in 8 games, and in the last game they inflicted a significant defeat on the West’s leader, Vegas, with a score of 7: 4.

The performance of both teams is impressive this month, with one better than the other. Both play a very open style, scoring a lot and conceding a lot, which adds up to a top total that surpasses most (10 out of 14) recent head-to-head meetings. The upcoming confrontation is paramount as the rivals are close to each other. And now, in my humble opinion, the hosts have at least a better chance of not conceding a goal in regular time, given the current conditions and a seven-match run at home with no points.
